The intro for this song is the first thing I ever learned to play on guitar. It's about time I got it recorded :)

Outstanding sir! You emulated him so spot on that it brought me to tears.
Thank you so much! You made my day :)
I can't believe this doesn't have more views. Awesome cover
Thank you so much!
This is incredible! By far the best video of this song. Thanks for sharing your talent
I just bought a white (E) Les Paul to try learn, been on my bucket list since way back then.. should be practicing but enjoying this 🙌🏼..thank you.
Thank you!
🩷 Absolutely an excellent rendition of one of my and my finance's favorite songs that we listen to in her hospital room and now in her nursing home together. This song means a lot to us. It's not what you've got It's what you give, baby !!! 🩷
Thank you so much! It means a lot to me 😀
I just started to work through this , my hand and brain hurt . Nice job
Thank you, and keep at it!
Absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t find any other complete play through. This is awesome.

Jack Cieminski is a Guitar God.
Thanks Tony! 😀
Thumbs up from me👍
Thanks so much Mick!
Wonderful cover Jack, I'm wowed as usual with your skills, especially the tapping solo. What's next on your list?
Thanks! I've been doing quite a bit of that tapping stuff lately, it's fun :) I bought a mandolin so I thought I'd do "Going to California" by Zeppelin next. Griff suggested I try some Satriani and Jake E. Lee stuff to work on my legato and pick-every-note technique, so that will be coming...sometime lol.
Jack -- amazing production and performance as always!
Thank you so much!
Cool one, Jack! Nicely played, and another great job on production. Now put away your Christmas decorations and play something on that mandolin in the background! LOL
Thanks so much Bruce! Yeah I always like to leave the Christmas stuff up way too long lol. I started working on "Going to California" by Zeppelin, trying to figure out the mandolin parts (which are buried in the guitar parts so I can barely make out what he's playing, much less figure out how I should play it) 🤣
Sounded amazing Jack. Vito is a great guitarist. Thank you!
Thank you so much!
I am so glad i came across this video. You absolutely nailed it!
Thank you so much!
yeah gotta go zack mode and say u cant beat saint rhoads. you rocked this, sounds so perfect
Long Live Kramer 👍🏼
I always wanted a Kramer because they were so popular in the fabulous '80s, so I finally had to get one 😀
How did you get the sound of the keyboard / piano intro? Which efx did you use?
I used a Boss SY-1000 guitar synth and the Roland GK3 pickup to record a MIDI track with the guitar, then I believe I used the "Monastery Grand" piano from Melda Productions (do a search - it's a free download) for the sound.
Tone is pretty spot man great job. This guy loves Randy you can tell!
Thank you so much!
No prob bro,I figure the song out by ear and posted a video on it.I play it completely different than Randy but it sounds similar so strange lol.@@Jackc8201
Awesome job
Thank you so much!
Cool stuff, Jack! Nicely done!
Thank you so much Bruce!
Impressive playing as always, Jack.
Thank you so much Phil!

RGT42 with SD pups?
Yup, Seymour Duncan 59's.
great cover of one of the best-composed guitar parts in history
quality stuff
Thank you!
So good.
Thank you!
Nice job RIP Ed
Thank you!
@@Jackc8201i liked it a lot. Its amazing what Eddie Van Halen was able to come up with on the electric guitar considering all of the keyboard experience he had at his early age. It almost sounds like Eddie is playing the piano on a lot of the songs he plays. I play somgs that I really like over and over and it begins to blow my mind. Eddie Van Halen was a Genius he really was. The into to that song is Genius
Nice one..at what age did u start playing the guitar?
Thank you! I played for about 5 years back in the '80s (started when I was 20), and then took it up again about 9 years ago.

Great work!! Keep it up!! 🎸🎸
Thank you!
Jack - from fellow BGUer, awesome production and playing!
Thank you so much!
Epic
Thank you!
Most excellent performance sir!!.You have my respect & admiration. I have a Martin D12-28. What 12 string is that you are playing? I’m just curious. Thanks
Thank you so much! The guitar is a Seagull Coastline Cedar 12. I just love that thing, it's no harder to play that a 6 string.
Unfortunately, I can’t speak THAT highly of my Martin D-12. I can say I really love the sound quality it puts out, but it sure doesn’t play as easy as my D-28 6 string. Have you ever played a D-12 28 & prefer the playability of your Seagull over a Martin?
